Lacrosse is a spring sport and our program is open to boys and girls in grades K-8 and runs from mid-February to late April. Henry Youth Lacrosse (HYL) is a recreational youth lacrosse program for both beginners and developing players with some prior lacrosse experience. NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED AT ANY LEVEL. As a recreational youth program, all players participate equally in practices and games.
If you are registering a returning player, use your USA Lacrosse membership login email and password to log in when prompted (“returning players” includes Fall 2021 players and recent TryLax Clinic participants).
If you are registering a new player, you will create your USA Lacrosse parent account when prompted.
Note: A current USA Lacrosse Membership for the player (not the parent) is required ($30 annually for youth players). Please visit the USA Lacrosse website for more information on membership benefits or to look up your membership number.
Select the Program you would like to register your player for. Our Spring 2022 programs include the following:
Note: Register your player in the most-relevant group. Coaches will assign players to teams based on age/grade.
Prepare for the season.
Once you register, coaches will reach out with information on the upcoming season, including what equipment your player(s) will need. Coaches will make recommendations on where you can find the best deals on new or used equipment and help you get the right size and type of equipment the first time around. Returning players (and new players who have sticks already) should start working on their passing/catching (with a friend or hit the wall) before the season starts. Lacrosse players should always be working on their stick skills.
