Henry Youth Lacrosse (HYL) is the official youth lacrosse association in Henry County. HYL offers both Fall and Spring lacrosse programs for boys and girls in grades K-8th. HYL also hosts a Youth Lacrosse Summer Camp in June - and FREE Lacrosse Clinics throughout the year for new and beginner players to try lacrosse without having to join a team or purchase equipment. USA Lacrosse is celebrating the sport of lacrosse this fall from November 2-10, 2024. The fourth annual National Celebrate Lacrosse Week (NCLW) will bring the lacrosse community together virtually and in-person to help showcase this special game. Part of this initiative is to make the sport of lacrosse more welcoming, diverse and inclusive. USA Lacrosse and Henry Youth Lacrosse welcomes all individuals from every walk of life to come and experience a sport that has so much opportunity for all youth.
A key component of National Celebrate Lacrosse Week will be FREE Pick Up & Play youth lacrosse clinics that will be hosted by youth lacrosse programs all around the country during NCLW. These clinics are intended for children ages 6-14, that will give youth players a chance to try the sport and connect with local lacrosse organizations that provide opportunities to further their exploration of lacrosse. Henry Youth Lacrosse is honored to have been selected as a host for one of USA Lacrosse’s Pick Up & Play Clinics for its 2nd consecutive year! We will be hosting our FREE Pick Up & Play Clinic on November 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Union Grove High School Stadium.
There is no cost to participate in this free event, though registration is limited to the first 60 players who sign up to attend. This clinic is intended for children new to the sport of lacrosse and Henry Youth Lacrosse. The clinic will be led by Henry Youth Lacrosse’s youth lacrosse coaches. HYL will also provide all necessary equipment for participants to use during the clinic. Stay tuned for registration information (registration opens September 25, 2024 on the USA Lacrosse website).

Henry Youth Lacrosse is dedicated to growing boys and girls lacrosse participation in Henry County, Georgia. Our mission is to help children in our communities discover, learn, and enjoy the sport of lacrosse while honoring and preserving the traditions of the game. HYL helps introduce the game to children in K-8th Grade, and regardless of age, grade, means, ability, or experience, helps those children develop their skills and reach their full potential on and off the field.
